Forestone Cabin is a small picket dwelling constructed by the 2025 cohort of IAAC’s Grasp in Ecological Structure and Superior Development. Situated within the Pyrenees at MónNatura Kind, it gives non permanent lodging for 2 folks with a sleeping space, workspace, and toilet. The cabin demonstrates how compact structure can inhabit delicate forest landscapes with out disturbing ecosystems, utilizing native timber and low-impact development.

The cabin’s type mimics the rocky terrain round it. Interiors Constructed by Hand

Inside, customized cross-laminated timber furnishings, a carved stone washbasin, and wool textiles create a completely built-in picket house. College students collaborated with native farmers to course of sheep’s wool into blankets, rugs, and pillowcases.
